Respite Care

If you’re the primary caregiver for a family member or a person with a disability, look to The Arc for support. Respite care provides your loved one with support and supervision while you have time to complete everyday activities. Respite Care is available for both in-group and individual settings.

Screened, experienced respite care providers make it possible for families to:

  • Take a break during stressful times
  • Complete personal business
  • Relax

Research has shown that respite services improve your quality of life and help maintain healthy family relationships.

Supported Community Living

The Arc provides hourly Supported Community Living services in the clients home and/or direct community. SCL services are provided to enable clients to develop supports and learn skills that will allow them to live, learn, work, and socialize in the community. SCL is an individualized supportive service provided in a variety of community-based, integrated settings. Services may be provided to a child or an adult.
